Kingston announces 1TB flash drive.

Kingston announces 1TB flash drive.

Kingston announced a monstrous 1TB flash drive. The new 1TB drive is USB 3.0 compatible, as is the 512GB model.
The drive has SuperSpeed support, Kingston reports that results in speeds of 240MBPS when reading and 160MBPS when writing. The drive will no doubt be expensive, the price of the 512GB drive is  71910.54 INR.

The drive is encased in a zinc metal alloy, so accidentally leaving it in your pocket and sitting on it won’t destroy it.

The 1TB HyperX Predator is compatible with most of the modern operating systems, including Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Vista SP1 or SP2, Windows XP with SP3, OS X 10.6 (and higher), and Linux 2.6 (and higher).
Kingston hasn’t announced a price for the 1TB model just yet. it would seem Kingston is charging more for the flash drive either because you simply can’t get something like that anywhere else, or because it’s fairly expensive to pack that much space into a relatively tiny flash drive.
Either way, you’re going to be spending a ton of money for the 1TB drive. Head on over to Kingston’s site and check back to see when the 1TB model is available.
